Official Goalie for the White House Dart Team

During an exclusive dinner hosted Monday by the Alfalfa Club, Obama adviser Valerie Jarret had just such a moment. And were it not for an irritated tipster, Jarret might have walked away from the dinner unblemished.

According to our tipster, Jarrett was seated at the head table along with several other big-name politicians and a handful of high-ranking military officials. As an officer sporting several stars walked past Jarrett, she signaled for his attention and said, “I’d like another glass of wine.”

So, if you are so out of touch that, as a SENIOR WHITE HOUSE ADVISER, you cannot differentiate between a waiter and a brass bedecked officer should you really be working in the White House at all? But I’m sure this was just some shmoe who happened to have a military uniform on, right?

A couple MSMers have reported that Army Vice Chief of Staff Chiarelli wants to show Jarett that all is forgiven, and has invited the Obama advisor to dinner next month. According to the reports, Chiarelli is  smoothing things over in the wake of Jarrett’s monumental faux pas at the annual AC black tie dinner. At that event, Jarrett was sitting at the head table when she mistook four-star General Chiarelli for a waiter and asked him to refill her wine.

A source close to Chiarelli says the general privately laughed off the incident. But he did not invite Jarrett to dinner. “That is White House spin.

“There is no dinner.”

Yup, not just any officer, but a four star general. And not just any four star general, but Army Vice Chief of Staff Chiarelli. And then they have the nerve to not only try to spin it to make it look like they were playing all nicey-nice, but that the General was the one to kowtow to that retard and not the reverse which would have been the appropriate action. She owes him an apology. You will never see one. Like they say, beauty is only skin deep but ugly goes all the way to the bone.
