The parents and brother of 15-year-old Larry King of Oxnard filed a personal injury claim against the Hueneme school district seeking unspecified damages for not enforcing the dress code, The Ventura County Star reported.
So let me get this straight (pardon the pun), Junior wears a dress and makeup to school and it’s the school’s fault that he was dressed that way? I feel sorry for any of the kid’s loved ones that suffered because of this, but if your kid is dressing like Priscilla Queen of the Desert and you let them walk out the door like that, the only people to blame for whatever happens to him because of his attire are you and the kid’s attacker. Besides, if the school had told him that he was violating the dress code, they probably would have gotten sued by the ACLU for violating his civil liberties including his right to self expression, his right to freedom of speech, and his right to bare arms sticking out of a lovely little cashmere cardigan.
His parents, Dawn and Gregory King, said faculty members knew their son had “unique vulnerabilities” and was subject to abuse because of his sexual orientation.
King was a ward of the court and living at a shelter for abused, neglected and emotionally troubled children at the time of the shooting.
Ahhhh, now I see where this is going. The parents abused the kid to the point where he went bat[IVAW] crazy and now they’re trying to cash in on his early demise due to their poor parenting skills. Nice. Really nice. A$$hats.
