London Riots, Random Violence, And Curiously Unreported Violent Flash Mobs At Home

Tuesday, August 9th, 2011

As many of you have already read, heard, or seen on television news programs there have been massive waves of unchecked, violent mobs terrorizing England over the past few days. Cars are being burned, stores looted, fire bombs thrown, and wide scale assaults committed for pretty much no reason whatsoever. Is the economy bad in England? Sure, things are tough all over but the level of violence doesn’t match the level of economic strife nor does it alleviate it in any way. I mean, how does burning somebody else’s car or home or business improve an unemployed person’s financial lot? Well, it doesn’t. This is just mob mentality run amuck and mob mentality often, in fact very often, turns violent.  People in America are sitting here scratching our heads wondering how this all came about, what the hell is the matter with these thugs, and if it could happen here. Well, I have bad news for you: it already is happening here and it is becoming alarmingly more frequent.

It is a new phenomenon called “Violent flash mobs” and it is becoming increasingly dangerous. I know that some of you are probably thinking “well, why haven’t I heard of this?” Well, that is a damned good question. The sad thing is, it is being reported but for some reason there isn’t a national outrage like there should be. It’s not that it isn’t being reported; it is that it is being underreported to the point where we don’t really notice it. It is surreptitiously seeping into our daily lives and, like frogs in a pan, we are not noticing it because the heat is increasing at a gradual rate. How so? Well, take this into account:

-In 2005 there was one violent flash mob of 30 people

-In 2006 there was one violent flash mob of 4 people

-In 2007 there were only two violent flash mobs the largest of which included hundreds of people

-In 2008 there were 8 violent flash mobs the largest of which was about 100 people

-In 2009 there were 10 violent flash mobs the largest of which was 100 people

-In 2010 there were 23 violent flash mobs ranging in size from a few people to 1000

-In 2011 there were 65 violent flash mobs ranging in size from five people to around a thousand people.

These mobs are popping up all over the place from rural Pennsylvania to Florida to Washington DC to Wisconsin to Alabama to New Jersey to California. They are becoming frighteningly ubiquitous.

Here are some examples of the news reports covering these events:

The man’s sister said a group of six teenage boys and two teenage girls threw rocks at him, knocked him off his bike, punched and kicked him and searched his clothes without finding any valuables. Police say members of the group called him names and made racial references before leaving him him on the roadway.

The pastor of a nearby church helped the man get to the hospital where he was treated for a broken bone in his right upper arm, a broken left wrist and a cut to his knee.

(Journal Sentinel) –Shaina Perry remembers the punch to her face, blood streaming from a cut over her eye, her backpack with her asthma inhaler, debit card and cellphone stolen, and then the laughter.

“They just said ‘Oh, white girl bleeds a lot,‘ ” said Perry, 22, who was attacked at Kilbourn Reservoir Park over the Fourth of July weekend.

Though Milwaukee Police Chief Edward Flynn noted Tuesday that crime is colorblind, he called the Sunday night looting of a convenience store near the park and beatings of a group of people who had gone to the park disturbing, outrageous and barbaric.
……
Perry was among several who were injured by a mob they said beat and robbed them and threw full beer bottles while making racial taunts. The injured people were white; the attackers were African-American, witnesses said.

BAYONNE, N.J. (CBSNewYork) – A young New Jersey man is in a coma fighting for his life after police said he was attacked by more than a dozen people over the weekend.

Police said Dawid Strucinski was on his way home from a convenience store in Bayonne around 3 a.m. Sunday morning when he came to the aid of a friend who was engaged in a fight with a group of teenagers.

As you can see it is very, very real and all around us. This is one of those things you throw into somebody’s face when they ask the (stupid) question “why does anybody need to carry a gun?!? That’s what the cops are for” Yeah, tell that to Dawid Strucinski or Shaina Perry or any of the other numerous victims. I bet if they had a gun with them at the time of their attacks, the outcome would have been much, much different. I can guarantee you that if the shit that is happening in England right now started to happen on my block, it would be over very, very quickly and there wouldn’t be any more violent flash mobs within ten miles of my house because the ensuing bloodbath and piles of dead rioters would make for a very good warning.

Wounded Warrior Arrested For “Stalking” WBC Members

Friday, December 3rd, 2010

I read this story in the WaPo this morning and did a little on-line research. Sorry folks, but I’m throwing the BS flag on this one.  Read on and I will explain afterwards…

WICHITA — Prosecutors today charged a decorated, double-amputee veteran with stalking and three counts of criminal use of weapons in an incident involving members of a controversial Topeka church.

Ryan J. Newell, 26, an Army veteran living in Marion, made his first appearance in Sedgwick County District Court through a video connection with the Sedgwick County Jail.

He also was charged with false impersonation of a law enforcement officer.

All the charges are misdemeanors.

His bond remains at $500,000.

The stalking charge accuses Newell of actions targeted at Westboro Baptist Church members and putting them in fear for their safety.

The weapons charges accuse him of unlawfully carrying and concealing or possessing with “intent to use” an M4 rifle, .45-caliber Glock handgun and .38-caliber Smith and Wesson handgun.

Okay, here is my issue with this. His only real crime here is impersonating an police officer. Why, you might ask, do I say that? Well, he was following members of the Westboro Baptist Church. Is that a crime? I don’t think it should be because that is exactly the kind of shite that WBC does all of the time. If it is, indeed, the crime of stalking then every member of the WBC who has ever protested at a military funeral is just as guilty of stalking… in fact, more so. And the “intent to use” charge is absolute bullshit too. “Intent to use”? Really? So, this soldier who was trained to kill and had at his disposal an M-4, a .45, AND a .38 couldn’t have just committed an act of violence whenever he wanted to? He was waiting for something special? How the hell can they claim “intent” in this case when he didn’t do anything violent with the weapons? They were with him in the car… big deal. I have weapons in my car sometimes. It’s my right. You know, 2nd Amendment and all that? That doesn’t mean I have intent to go kill anybody. Maybe the police in Kansas have psychics that we don’t know about? And what the hell is up with the ATF getting involved? The Kansas State Police can’t handle one handicapped guy with a couple of guns?

As for “actions targeted at Westboro Baptist Church members and putting them in fear for their safety”, the Westboro Baptist Church purposefully engages in provocative activities that should be expected to have the potential to cause violence against their persons considering the duress under which their victims usually are. You don’t go around kicking dogs and not expect to eventually get bitten or, in this case, growled at. The only people that have put the Westboro Baptist Church in fear for their safety are the members of the Westboro Baptist Church themselves. And if they are that certain in their convictions regarding God, they shouldn’t be afraid of anything. After all, if they are so certain that they are right they shouldn’t fear death at all, so how could one handicapped vet put them at “fear for their safety”?

If the guy was actually concealing a weapon illegally, okay… you got him. If not? Well, congratulations Kansas police and ATF… you got to arrest a guy for following somebody in a car and you got to take away the only defense from a handicapped combat veteran. You took away one guy’s 2nd Amendment Rights when he hadn’t actively used guns in the commission of a crime to protect the 1st Amendment Rights of those who exercise theirs on a daily basis to terrorize the innocent, grieving families of those who died defending those rights. I hope you’re proud of yourselves.

Side note:

Oddly enough, on the way home from dinner with TSO from TAH last night,  BNG and I were just wondering how long it would be before somebody capped one of those a-holes. Apparently it will be a long long time if you can’t even possess a gun near them without getting arrested. Now, I don’t advocate violence toward them… but I certainly wouldn’t waste a tear if something horrible did happen to them. They deserve it in spades. And when Fred Phelps does eventually die there will be a road trip (we might charter a bus) out to Kansas to protest at his funeral. We’ll use the exact same signs with similar wording except instead of the words “soldiers” or “fags” it will say “Phelps.” I’ll bring the beer.

Jonn over at TAH has a post on this too with a slightly different, less hot-blooded take on it.

Uncle Sniper Wants YOU

Wednesday, May 13th, 2009

I don’t hate too many people. Not really. I might say I hate this or that or him or her, but I usually don’t mean it. But I do really hate some things and some people. I hate al Qaeda. I hate the Taliban. I hate terrorists of all genres… especially these douchebags: the Westboro Baptist Church. You have no idea how much I despise these colostomy bag-chugging oxygen thieves. Every time, and I mean EVERY TIME, I see them I want to beat them to death with an entrenching tool… and by “beat them to death with an entrenching tool” I mean “shove into a cell with a violent, gay power lifter serving life for sexual assault and murder whose brother died in Iraq and whose sister died in 9/11”. See, that way they’ll really wish I had actually used an e-tool to cleave their rancid, foul, festering, ignorant guts out onto the filthy pavement for the dogs to reject and for starving rats to find too foul to ingest.
Nothing they get will be bad enough for them. I don’t want to go to the clink just for one shot at them in public, so I’ll curb my violent tendencies and use my words to wound them. They’ll probably need a dictionary to understand the more complex word structures (more than one syllable) but they’ll get the gist with my hand gestures.

They aim to disrupt the funeral of one of our fallen brothers at Arlington ton Thursday, May 21st. SSG William Vile’s family aims to honor their son in peace. WBC aims to disrupt that peace. We aim to disrupt the WBC. Please, please, please come out and help harass these assholes and keep them from harassing the family that is grieving so much at the loss of someone who not only gave everything he had for them, but for us too. Consider it a request, an order, a plea, whatever… just be there.

He fought for us… let’s fight for him.

I fully realize there are registered “sex offenders” out there who have been imprisoned and put on the sex offender list for crimes as hideous as banging their 15 year old girlfriend at the ripe old age of 18. But maggots who diddle kids or who think sticking their tool into an unwilling participant is somehow acceptable should not be living in homes close to civilization.

So pardon me if my sympathy meter pegs in the negatives.

Thousands of convicted sex offenders are reporting to police that they are homeless, raising concerns that their lack of a permanent address could make them difficult to track, a USA TODAY analysis shows.

Ya know what would make them easy to track? A shallow grave or a prison cell.

Sex offenders, who are required to register with police and often barred by law from living near places where children gather, list addresses such as a tent, “near a bike path,” “behind a cemetery” or “woods behind Wal-Mart.”

Too bad “bottom of a lake with a cement collar” is not on the list.

In Boston, nearly two-thirds of 136 high-risk sex offenders lack permanent addresses. In New York City, more than 100 registered at two homeless shelters. In Miami last month, 22 reported living under the Julia Tuttle Causeway that links the city to Miami Beach.

“People should be concerned about this,” says Jill Levenson, sex-crimes policy analyst at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Fla. She says homeless sex offenders are more likely to commit another crime.

Then why is it that we don’t imprison these repugnant vermin for life, or better yet, improve the look of our public parks by turning them into fertilizer?

“Residency restrictions are the linchpin for causing homelessness among sex offenders,” says Frances Breyne of the Kansas Department of Corrections.

Yeah, that’s why we should allow them to live in close proximity to a plethora of potential victims. Because situations such as this are much more preferable to a kiddie diddler living in a cardboard box.

I ask again… why are we letting these sub-human hemorrhoids back out into society?

Oh waaaah!

Sunday, November 4th, 2007

Apparently, some folks in Kansas don’t like the festering [expletive deleted]nozzles at the Westboro Baptist Church of Child Abusers and Closet Hyena Humpers.

Topeka police are investigating vandalism at the Westboro Baptist Church, known for its protests at the funerals of soldiers killed in Iraq.

Police said graffiti spray-painted on the church read, “God hates intolerance” and “God hates the Phelps,” an apparent reference to the church’s belief that God is punishing the United States for its support of homosexuals.

APPARENT reference? I think it’s pretty damn clear. And while I don’t condone destruction of private property, I’m sure whoever perpetuated this heinous act of freedom of expression will be punished accordingly with a light tap on the wrist and a few congratulatory beers.

Church leader Shirley Phelps-Roper said the damage is the latest of numerous acts of vandalism committed to the church’s property over the past 17 years.

Of course, the damage is nothing compared to the damage inflicted upon grieving families of America’s heroes by this band of rabid pig [expletive deleted]ers. But speaking of damages…

You remember the father of that fallen Marine who sued Phelps and his oozing, pustulent hemorrhoid of a “church”? Well he won. $11 Million.

Suck it, Phelps.

Fetid pieces of [CIR] sued

Friday, October 26th, 2007

Personally, I would like to see these festering, mephitic pieces of decomposing sub-human swill beaten half to death with nail-studded clue bats dipped in hydrochloric acid and thrown still conscious into vats of pig excrement, but I’ll settle for this family winning their lawsuit.

Before the March 2006 funeral for Lance Cpl. Matthew A. Snyder, a Marine who was killed in Iraq, protesters from the Westboro Baptist Church, a tiny fundamentalist splinter group, picketed the service with signs that read, “God Hates You” and “Thank God for Dead Soldiers.”

Albert Snyder, the father of Snyder, sued the church in U.S. district court here, claiming invasion of privacy and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

The Westboro protesters, whose church is in Topeka, Kan., frequently picket the funerals of military officials and soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan because church leaders assert that God is killing soldiers to punish America for condoning homosexuality. The lawsuit, which is being tried in Baltimore, is believed to be the first against the church by the family of a fallen serviceman.

I would settle for suing these execrable [CIR]slurpers out of existence, forcing them to pay millions to veterans’ causes. But I’d be happy if every last member of the Westboro Satan Spawn was tied naked to a telephone pole and every family of a fallen service member given a rusty fork and some salt. I’ll leave the rest to your imagination.

Since I doubt anything really hideous will happen to them anytime soon, I would hope everyone would support the Patriot Guard Riders.

The group was founded after media whore and closet butt pirate Fred Phelps and his odious offspring began staging protests at soldiers’ funerals.

American Legion Offers $1,000 Reward For Info On Arsonists

Monday, October 8th, 2007

Nearly two dozen American flags and a wooden statue of a soldier in mourning were burned outside of American Legion Post 403 in Wanatah, Indiana and now that post is offering a $1,000.00 reward. I’m not going to write too much about this because I’m still so freaking livid about it that words escape me… and I heard about this a few days ago. I will, however, give you the link to a news article about this and the link to that Post 403.

Arson, larceny, vandalism, flag desecration, scare tactics… hmm, this is the kind of crap that Kos and his minions might stoop to. Well, if they actually had the stones to do that sort of thing in person vice the comfortable anonymity of the internet.
I, for one, am all in favor of burning the flag… as long as that flag is printed on a US made incendiary device and crammed up those scumbags’ colons. (Oh, and the scumbags I refer to in this particular instance would be the ones stealing and burning flag, not Kos and his ilk… although the term is equally fit for both.)

P.S. What the reward is for is not clearly stated… I’m hoping it’s for ears.

Rabbit Pellet of the Week Award

Thursday, October 4th, 2007

This week’s Rabbit Pellet goes to officials at Oakland International Airport, who last Thursday refused to allow U.S. troops to enter the terminal during a layover of a few hours. Some had loved ones waiting inside, some just wanted to use the bathroom or buy a newspaper. Instead, they had to wait on a remote area of the tarmac while the officials at OAK showed typical West Coast “support” for our troops.

Naturally, the bungholes responsible for this outrage have backtracked with a bunch of stupid and transparent excuses, many which actually seemed based on the idea that U.S. troops had never landed at OAK before and there were no security procedures in place to deal with the presence of U.S. troops. It’s hard to imagine anyone could believe such tripe, but you can expect all of those who hate the military to nod their heads in agreement and play along anyway.

This story has me so pissed off that I can’t address it further without lots and lots of profanity, so I’d advise you to read up on this yourself if you hadn’t heard about this incident yet:

John Gibson and Heather Nauert Discuss the Incident

Oakland Airport Officials Apologize
Skvoznyak Reacts to Apology
Close-up Photo of the Essence of the Apology and Excuse

For their reprehensible disregard for and contempt towards U.S. troops, not to mention their decision to insult our intelligence with an excuse not even Ripley would believe, everyone involved in this incident (other than the troops themselves, of course) is awarded (and cordially invited to choke on) this week’s prestigious Rabbit Pellet award.

Get Ready For Your Blood To Boil Again

Friday, June 8th, 2007

Yup, in America.

Don’t think for a second that this isn’t a war of survival. And it won’t stop until we’re all Muslim or we’re all dead. They call Freedom of Expression a “loophole” and use it against us. Nice, eh?
