Project Valour-IT Time

July 17th, 2012 by The Sniper

Okay folks, you know the deal. It’s time to pony up some scratch so our men and women in uniform who have lost their abilities to type through catastrophic injuries can get voice-activated laptops. It seems like a little thing to be able to write an e-mail to your parents or spouse or children or even browse the internet or watch a movie; that is, until you can’t because you can’t use your hands. I usually play the whole “let’s make this an inter-service rivalry” thing for the Project Valour-IT fundraising drive, but quite frankly I don’t care what team you donate to; just donate.

Please.

There is a serious shortage of these laptops and an equally serious need for them. Have a heart folks. Donate.

This is the first I have seen your site, I love it. I would like to help you with the laptop donations. We(AMVETS) get laptops donated to Fisher House for the soldiers who are recovering. If someone could contact me about this I would like to help you get laptops for these warriors. My email is shickey@amvets.org
