It is now official.

This man has no soul. Or is pathological. Your choice.

President Obama recounts an anecdote about the 2004 Democratic National Convention at White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs’ final [11 February 2011] press briefing:

“The most challenging problem was what tie to wear. And this went up to the very last minute. I mean, 10 minutes before we were about to go on stage we were still having an argument about ties. I had bought five, six ties. And Michelle didn’t like any of them, Axelrod didn’t like a couple of them — him being one of the best dressed men in the world. So we really valued his opinion.

“And then somebody — I don’t remember who it was — turned and said, ‘You know what? What about Gibbs’ tie? What about Gibbs’ tie? That might look good.’ And, frankly, Robert didn’t want to give it up because he thought he looked really good in the tie. But eventually he was willing to take one for the gipper, and so he took off his tie, and I put it on. And that’s the tie that I wore at the national convention.”

Sorry you are no Ronald Reagan.

    Not even close…

Beyond an empty suit, he is simply a meat puppet, repeating what he has been told to say by his puppet masters.

He is as deep as a teaspoon of water.

The real issue is who, besides Soros, is holding his strings?

The funy thing is how he worries about meaningless things. All this thought about his tie and then he goes and makes a speach that said nothing. But said it so well. When I first saw his 2004 speach live I thought he was a college student who had written an essay for the negro college fund and was being given a chance to read said essay. He was so skinny he looked like a kid just out of highschool and the content of what he was saying was so wishy washy and meaningless. And then the real surprise after 10 minutes of fluff from a skinny looking guy with big ears the media loved it….. every station was saying “Wow! what a speach”

None of them commented on his tie but they should have liked it just as much.

He was speaking somebody elses words from a teleprompter while wearing somebody elses tie.

    Well said Jason!

Another prime example of how an anecdote about a close friend becomes just another story all about him and how awesome he is. It’s all about him. every. single. time.

Just a correction to my own comment

It should read “He was speaking somebody elses words from a teleprompter while wearing somebody elses tie (and using somebody elses moniker.)”

It also isn’t Take one for the gipper…Its WIN one for the Gipper. There is a distinct difference between taking it up the wazoo and trying to do your best to prevail. But we all know Obama wants us to take it up the wazoo and doesn’t want us to prevail on the world stage.

The words “Gipper” and “Obama” don’t even belong in the same sentence…..
More like “Douchebag” and “Obama”……..that’s better.

Actually, he is pathological; gripped by Malignant Narcissistic Personality Disorder.
