CJ from the long running milblog “A Soldier’s Perspective” has shut it down. You can see his final post here. It’s a bad day for milblogging. Apparently his command/superiors were fine with him blogging when he was saying nice things that the Army agreed with, but when he started saying things they didn’t like or found contrary to their policy, they started threatening him.
Nice.
I saw that last night! It’s a sad day for all of us.

Subrookie, he basically got told to shut down. Not in so many words, but they’ve been leaning on hin pretty heavy. It’s utter BS if you ask me.
