I’m sure you all know by now, but the murderer is one Hasan Nidal Malik. He was a psychiatrist in the Army. Stationed at Ft. Hood for two years and prior to that at Walter Reed AMC since 2003. The guy was just some Islamist (convert?) that had never been deployed and didn’t want to go so he shot up a bunch of soldiers going through mobilization. Just out of curiousity, why the hell do we do this to ourselves? PC suicide? I mean, how many friggin’ German Officers and Japanese Officers did we try to deploy during World War II?

Not to nit pick, but we deployed a lot of people of German ethnicity in WWII. Heck I’d wager 30% of our force was of Germanic ancestry. And as far as Japs ever hear of the 442….
I get your point, and mostly agree with it. But no need in revisionist history here. Different time and different circumstances. I think most of us learned all we needed to know about radical islam on 9/11.
True enough Grover, but they weren’t saying “gee, you know what? The Germans and/or Japanese are right to do what they do. In fact, I support their efforts.” Which is pretty much what this guy was saying for months. I have heard of the 442. I have heard of Germans used as infiltrators and yes, I know that many Americans are of German decent… but this isn’t about race, it’s about their religion and the theocracy that goes with it.
Again, I get your point… but the oversight needs to be there and it needs to be airtight when dealing with folks who have no problem killing and/or dying in the name of Allah.
