If Islam recognizes no separation between church and state, and by law there is a separation of church and state in America, then by law Islam should not be allowed in America due to its desire as not only a religious doctrine (which, by the way, proposes the subjugation of all other religions if not their total destruction) but as a political system to overturn and control the governments where they reside.
Why is it that we could keep Communism (a governmental doctrine that, in effect, was a religious doctrine) under control through strict regulation, but no one seems to have the stones to make sure that we’re not producing suicide bombers in our back yards?
I have no problem with anyone else’s religious beliefs just as long as they don’t infringe on the way I live my life or if I even get to live my life at all. My motto is, has always been, and will more than likely always be “Whatever floats your boat as long as it doesn’t sink mine”. What you teach your kids is your business… up until the point where you start teaching them that they should kill me and people like me, at which point it becomes very much my business. If you want to move to America and practice your religion that’s fine with me, but you had better leave your theocratic aspirations back in the old country or we’re going to have some problems.
